A Hawai'i-born and raised photographer, based on the big island of Hawai'i in Hilo & Kailua-Kona.
I specialize in weddings, elopements, and couple shoots. I place a great emphasis on storytelling and capturing the authentic moments of your day. You'll find warmth, vibrancy, and natural elements throughout my photographs.

Looking through Marcus' portfolio we were instantly drawn to the warmth in his photos, we were excited for him to capture our day, hoping for something similar. My goodness, did he deliver!! The photos were even better than we had hoped for! The moments that he caught throughout the day we will cherish forever. He was also so easy to work with, everyone got along great, it was like he was part of the family! We can't wait to come back to the island for our anniversary and do another photo session!!

Let me just say, I am camera SHY!! I was so nervous to hire a photographer for the first time, but I really wanted photos of me and my husband while we were visiting family. After talking to Marcus on the phone before booking he was so easy to talk to, and completely understood my nerves about getting my photo taken. After that I decided okay, it's time, let's just do it, and wow am I glad I did! The photos came out so sweet, and the sunset lighting was just gorgeous. I seriously can't believe he managed to get such great photos of us! Thank you Marcus!!

I planned to propose to my girlfriend while we were on vacation on the big island, the only problem was I had no clue where to start. I thought hey, maybe a photographer could help since I need one anyways to get photos of the moment. Marcus went above and beyond! He made several great suggestions on locations, what time of day was best, directions to get there, and even provided some tips on what to wear, ha! The photos turned out incredible, my fiance is in love with the pictures!
